Thanks to Both Erin at Freckled Writer and Carole at Watermaid’s Weblog for awarding me with the Kreativ Blogger Award. I’ve only been blogging a few months, so it’s an honor to be recognized by sister bloggers out there.
I have now been charged with the task of identifying seven things I love and passing the award onto seven other bloggers. Seven seems like an awfully big number in my life right now, so I’m going to change the magic number to four (searching the internet trying to find some background on this award, I discovered that the number has varied in practice). And for those I award this to: feel free to pass it onto others (or not) in any number you wish. The recommended process is to link to and leave comments on those blogs for how to pass on the award.
Four things I love (out of so many more): daffodils, snakes, canyons, dolphins.
Four bloggers who impressed me with the creativity of their writing and depth of insight during Read Write Poem’s National Poetry Month Challenge to write a poem a day:
I encourage you to visit and explore their websites and sample some of their poetry.

Hi Liz,
Thank you so much for the award. I’ll post a response soon. I really enjoyed your poetry this month and look forward to reading your poetry and other musings.
Hi Liz,
I can only echo Susan’s comments. Thank you! I’ve enjoyed reading your posts (poetry and other) and will be back on a regular basis.
Liz, I’m terribly honoured. If my poems spoke to anyone, that’s all that mattered. I also learned with huge admiration, the ethnographic memoir you are writing. I know your words will always be a gift. You look beautiful in your pictures.
Hi Liz, I know you’ve moved onto from readwritepoem but I’d like to share with you something I wrote today, after I found an old clip of my children. You’ve been so encouraging, so I thought you might like to see this.

Liz, just so you don’t need to check back, I’m posting my reply here. My son (the verbose one) is turning 13 in Sept. The younger (quieter) one is 11. Thanks Liz, for sharing, I can’t really see beyond the tunnel when they’re 21… congrats on achieving this milestone in your family.
I’ve changed my blog title to Lost in Translation (the same url so as not to confuse). The old one is more a working title when I set up my blog almost 2 months ago when I knew nuts about blogging! Talk about sharp learning curve…
